The gluten-free wafers and the gluten-free bread share one flour blend of garbanzo bean, potato starch, tapioca, sorghum and fava bean, with water, and both come in resealable bags. The soft unleavened bread and the cross-design wafers sold in the cup bundles are made with wheat flour, shortening, salt and water.
A bag can say gluten-free only if the food stays under the FDA limit of 20 parts per million of gluten. That is the claim on the bag. Whether it is safe for one member is a question for that member. Serve gluten-free pieces from their own plate, set out before the regular bread is opened.
